Kapil Sharma revealed in a recent interview that he was broke when he entered film production. Due to which he also became a victim of depression. In the 'Feel It in Your Soul' podcast, Kapil told how he decided to make films? When he did two films, his bank balance went to zero.
He said, 'I was mad. I did two films. Actually, what happened was that I had a lot of money. I thought that money makes a person a creator. But money alone does not make one a producer.
Kapil's bank balance had gone to zero. Kapil continued, 'Producers have a different mindset. There is a different training to be a producer. I wasted a lot of money and my bank balance went to zero.
His wife helped him when he was depressed. Kapil said that he went into depression. Then his wife Ginny pulled him out of this bad time.
Kapil made two films 'Firangi' and 'Son of Manjit Singh' in 2017 and 2018. Both the films received mixed reviews from the audience and critics. Kapil went bankrupt after doing these two films.
Kapil reached Mumbai with 1200 rupees Kapil also stated that he came to Mumbai with only Rs 1200. One day he had nothing to eat. This day was full of difficulties.
