Like Thailand, Indonesia, now Vietnam is also preparing to attract Gujarati tourists. Vietnam Tourism Department has invited Indian chefs to their country especially for Gujarati tourists. Vietnam Tourism is increasing air connectivity as well as food connectivity to provide Gujarati-Indian cuisine to Gujaratis. Vietnam Tourism will invite Indian restaurants to offer Indian cuisine at popular tourist destinations.
Whether it is Diwali vacation or summer vacation, Gujaratis are always at the forefront of traveling. Currently, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam are the hot favorite tourist destinations for holiday trips. Generally among Indian tourists, Gujaratis prefer Indian cuisine while traveling abroad.” Says travel consultant Vinod Gajre.
A special food policy will be introduced and promotional activities will be started As many as 1.40 lakh Indians have visited Da-Nang in the last nine months alone. We will have a special food policy and promotional activities to ensure that Indian and especially Gujarati tourists can get Indian or Gujarati food in Vietnam. Under which different Indian restaurants can be started in Vietnam. Moreover, we will also invite Indian chefs to Vietnam. So that tourists get their own food. A flight to Phu Quoc Island will also be started from Ahmedabad Recently, VietJet has started direct flights from Ahmedabad to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh and Da Nang. Koon Sunah, Vice President of Vietjet Airline says that in the near future we are planning to start Ahmedabad-Phu Quoc Island flight as well.
