NCP Sharad first list released, 45 names: Nephew ticket from Baramati against Ajit Pawar, Anil Deshmukh to contest from Katol seat

Sharad Pawar's Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) released its first list for the Maharashtra assembly elections on Thursday evening. It has 45 names.

The party has given ticket to Yugendra Pawar from Baramati. He will contest against uncle Ajit Pawar. Anil Deshmukh has been nominated from Katol, Jitendra Awad from Mumbra Kalwa and Jayant Patil from Islampur seat.

NCP Sharad is part of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance with Congress-Shiv Sena Uddhav. On October 23, the three parties announced to contest the elections on 85-85-85 seats.

18 seats are said to be given to other parties of the Indian bloc, including Samajwadi Party, SWP and CPI(M). Still the matter is stuck on 15 seats.

65 names in first list of Shiv Sena (UBT). On the evening of October 23, the Shiv Sena (UBT) announced the first list of 65 candidates. Uddhav's son Aditya Thackeray has been nominated from Worli. Kedar Dighe was given ticket from Kopri Pachpakhari against Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

The Thackeray group has fielded former Sawantwadi MLA Rajan Talley against Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar. Suresh Banker has been fielded against cabinet minister Abdul Sattar.

3 women have been given tickets in Shiv Sena (UBT) list. Five seats are for SC and 3 seats for ST. Shiv Sena (UBT) has released the first list in Maharashtra Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). The list of Congress and NCP (SP) is yet to come.

So far 182 names announced in Mahayuti October 23: NCP names 38 candidates in Ajit Group's first list On 23 October, Ajit Pawar's NCP group released the first list for the Maharashtra assembly elections. There were names of 38 candidates. Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar will contest from Baramati. It comes under Baramati Lok Sabha seat.

October 22: Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) first list, 35 candidates announced Late on October 22, the Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) announced the first list of 45 candidates. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will contest from Kopri Pachpakhari. While Minister Uday Samant has been given ticket from Ratnagiri. CM Eknath Shinde revolted against the then Uddhav government in June 2022. He became Chief Minister with the support of BJP. In such a situation, this is the first assembly election under the leadership of Shinde.

October 21: BJP included 99 names in the first list on October 21 The BJP announced the first list of 99 candidates for the assembly elections on October 21. Out of which 6 seats are for ST and 4 seats for SC. At the same time, 13 seats have been given tickets to women. At the same time, there are 10 candidates who will be contesting for the first time. Three sitting independent MLAs have also been given tickets.

Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis will contest from south-west Nagpur and Maharashtra BJP president Chandrasekhar Bawankule from Kamathi. Shrijaya Chavan, daughter of former Maharashtra CM Ashok Chavan, has been given ticket from Bhokar and Santosh Danve, son of former Union Minister Raosaheb Danve, has been given ticket from Bhokardan seat.

Single phase election on 20th November, result on 23rd November The term of Maharashtra Assembly ends on 26 November 2024. In Maharashtra, there is a coalition government of Shiv Sena, BJP and NCP Ajit Pawar group. The division of votes between the anti-incumbency and the big six parties will be a major challenge for the Sadhana Party.
