Emerging Asia Cup…India's third straight win: beats Oman by 6 wickets, Ayush Badoni's fifty; Important contribution by Tilak Verma and Abhishek Sharma

India-A's brilliant performance in the Emerging Asia Cup continues. The team led by Tilak Verma now defeated Oman by 6 wickets in the third match. This is the team's third win in a row. The team topped the points table till the end of the group stage. The team will face Afghanistan-A in the semi-finals. This match will be played on 25th October.

Oman won the toss and batted first to set India a target of 141 runs at the Al Emirates Cricket Ground on Wednesday. In response, the Indian team chased the target after losing 4 wickets in 15.2 overs.

Ayush Badoni played the match winning innings From India, Ayush Badoni played the highest innings of 51 runs in 27 balls. Captain Tilak Verma scored an unbeaten 36 runs. Opener Abhishek Sharma contributed 34 runs.

Oman scored 140 runs The Indian team could not all out Oman. Oman scored 140 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. Mohammad Nadeem played the highest innings of 41 runs. Hammad Mirza contributed 28 runs. For India, Aqib Khan, Rashikh Dar, Nishant Sandhu, Ramandeep and Sai Kishore got 1 wicket each.

India won the second match by 7 wickets India-A defeated UAE by 7 wickets in the second match. On Monday, UAE captain Basil Ahmed won the toss and decided to bat at the Al Emirates Cricket Ground in Oman. For India, Abhishek Sharma scored a fifty while Rasik Salam took 3 wickets.

The Indian team bowled brilliantly and bowled out UAE for 107 runs in 16.5 overs. Rasikh Salam was the highest wicket taker for India-A with three wickets while Ramandeep took two wickets. India chased down the target of 108 runs in 10.5 overs with the loss of 3 wickets. Ayush Badoni won the match by hitting fours.

In the first match, India defeated Pakistan by 7 runs India-A defeated Pakistan-A by 7 runs in their first match. Indian captain Tilak Verma won the toss and elected to bat first at the Al Emirates Cricket Ground in Oman on Saturday.

Team India scored 183 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, the Pakistan team could score only 176 runs in 20 overs, losing 7 wickets. Captain Tilak Verma scored 44 runs. Anshul Kamboj took the most 3 wickets.
