First list of Shiv Sena Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray for Maharashtra Assembly Election 2024 has been announced. Uddhav Thackeray announced the list of 65 candidates, in which his son Aditya Thackeray has been nominated from Worli. Apart from this, Rajan Vikhe has been given tickets from Thane.
Against Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Thackeray group has given ticket to Kedar Dighe from Kopri Pachapkhadi. The Uddhav group is the first to announce the list in MVA. Congress and NCP (Sharad) list is yet to come.
Maharashtra Mahavikas Aghadi has announced the seat distribution here. Congress-Shiv Sena Uddhav and NCP Sharad will contest on 85-85-85 seats i.e. 270 seats. The remaining 18 seats will be given to other parties involved in the grand coalition.
Other parties include Samajwadi Party, SWP and CPI(M).

On Tuesday itself, the distribution of seats among the Maha Vikas Aghadis (MVA) for 288 seats in the state has been decided. The meeting of the leaders of the three parties lasted for about 4 hours. After the meeting, Shiv Sena Uddhav leader Sanjay Raut said that seat distribution in MVA has been finalised. There will be no more meetings. He will announce the seat allocation in a press conference on Wednesday.
According to media reports, the distribution of seats in the assembly elections was decided based on the results of the Lok Sabha elections in MVA. Maharashtra will go to polls in one phase on November 20. The result will be out on 23rd November. The tenure of the state assembly ends on November 26.
Before the seat sharing was finalized on Monday, Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut said that 210 of the 288 assembly seats in the MVA had been agreed upon.
