Today i.e. on 23rd October, the stock market is showing a decrease. The Sensex is trading at the 80,100 level, down over 100 points. At the same time, the Nifty is down around 50 points, trading at 24,450. Out of 30 stocks in Sensex, 20 are falling and 10 are rising.
Asian markets witnessed mixed business today
- In Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei is down 0.29%. While an increase of 0.81% in Korea's Kospi and 0.80% in China's Shanghai Composite is being seen.
- On October 22, the US Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.01% to 42,924 and the S&P 500 fell 0.04% to 5,851. The Nasdaq rose 0.18% to 18,573.
- Foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹3,978 crore on October 22, according to NSE data. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) bought shares worth ₹5,869 crore.
Today is the second day of 2 IPOs
Today i.e. 23rd October is the last day of 2 IPOs. The IPO will be of Deepak Builders and Engineers India Limited and Wari Energy Limited Company. These were opened for issue on 21 October. The company's shares will be listed on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) on October 28.
Yesterday the market saw a decline
Earlier yesterday i.e. October 22, the Sensex closed down 930 points (1.15%) at 80,220. At the same time, the Nifty saw a decline of 309 points (1.25%), closing at 24,472. At the same time, BSE Small Cap closed down 2,118 points (3.81%) at 53,530.
