A person was passing on the Nagpur-Pandur highway near Sawli Fata when he saw a dead body lying on the side of the road. The body was lying upside down, wearing a designer black top, black denim shorts and black long boots. When the body was turned over, the sight was shocking. The face was badly bruised. Rags of flesh hung down, completely disfiguring the facial features. Both knees were broken and right thumb was also broken. The pedestrian immediately called the police and reported the incident.
It was clear from the mangled face that this was done to hide the identity. However, in this case, the girl's clothes and many tattoos on her body proved to be very helpful. The girl had 'Queen' tattooed on her chest, while her arm had a 'love bird' tattoo with two names, the first being 'Khushi' and the second being 'Ashu'. The police department sent pictures of the tattoo to nearby police stations and informers. Another angle of investigation was the clothes found on the girl's body.
It had a sticker of a mall in Nagpur on its top, which helped a lot in the investigation. When the police inquired in that showroom of the mall, they found out that the clothes bill was in the name of a girl named Khushi Kumari.
A day before the body was found, Khushi had made a purchase of Rs 6000 from the mall, in which her mobile number was also found. As soon as the identity was revealed, it did not take long for the police to connect the links to the murder. The gruesome murders are revealed to be linked to conversions, live-in relationships and suspicion of character.
Khushi Kumari was a model. She wanted to make it to the top of the modeling world, but upheavals in her personal life and some wrong decisions cut her life short by a few years.
Today, read the sequential story of Khushi Kumari Parihar's murder and investigation in 2 chapters of the untold story –
After the body of 19-year-old model Khushi Kumari was found, the police started searching for her killers. Mobile numbers recovered from the mall were scrutinized and their contacts were extracted. When the police called his family, shocking revelations came to light.
Parents said that Khushi was an orphan. Someone dropped him off at an orphanage, from where Jagdish Parihar adopted him in the year 2000. There was no information about his place of birth, date of birth and biological parents.
While studying in 10th standard, Khushi became interested in the world of modeling. Initially she used to be a part of small fashion shows. While graduating from Raisoni College, she won the title of Miss Raisoni in the college fest.
In the year 2019, she was also a contestant of Miss India, though she did not become a finalist. In her early years, Khushi dropped her graduation and started modeling full time.
Abandoned whom he adopted for Muslim Ashraf Sheikh Khushi met Ashraf Sheikh while modeling. Over time their friendship turned into love. After meeting Ashraf, Khushi's behavior changed a lot. She went to expensive restaurants and cafes and stayed out most of the time. Ashraf also gifted him a mobile and a car. When the family started objecting to his attitude, quarrels started to rise in the house.

Just a few months back, Khushi had left her poor parents' home to live a life without any ties to Ashraf. When the family protested, Khushi broke up with them. She used to say that she didn't want to live like a poor person. Khushi lost contact with her family after leaving home.
On July 13, after taking the family's statement, the Rural Crime Branch police arrested Khushi's live-in partner Ashraf from the house at Gittikhdan, where he lived with Khushi. Ashraf said during interrogation that he had not met Khushi for the past several days, though the police found his statement strange.
In the CCTV footage, Khushi was seen getting into a car with her boyfriend. After Ashraf's refusal, the police started scanning the CCTV footage of the Nagpur-Pandur highway. During the investigation, Ashraf's car (MH-03 AM 4764) was captured on CCTV crossing the toll post on July 12 at 9.30 pm. If seen through zoom, Ashraf was also present in the car with Khushi Kumari at that time.
However, when Ashraf's car returned from the toll crossing at 2:30 am on July 12-13, he was alone in the car.
This evidence was enough for the police. This time he questioned Ashraf strictly. This time he collapsed. Iqbal confessed to the crime that he had killed Khushi Kumari. In his statement to the police, Ashraf said that he met Khushi Kumari Parihar in the year 2018. Friendship blossomed into love and both started living in a rented house.
Khushi was very happy in this relationship for a few months, but then bitterness started to grow between the two. Khushi's mannerisms, who dreamed of becoming a big name in the modeling world, began to annoy Ashraf. He often objected to her late night parties, modeling shows and meetings with different people. There was a heated argument between the two on this issue.
Khushi, on the other hand, was so obsessed with Ashraf that she even got his name tattooed on her arm. She used to share romantic pictures with Ashraf on social media. Khushi even changed her religion to Zara Sheikh for Ashraf.
Amid differences and quarrels, Ashraf and Khushi decided to get married in late July, but Ashraf's suspicions about Khushi were growing. According to Ashraf's statement to the police, on July 12, he took Khushi for shopping. Both bought Rs 6,000 from Nagpur Mall and returned home. Khushi puts on new clothes and both go for a long night drive. Everything was good. Both had dinner and drank alcohol at a dhaba near Kalam on the Nagpur-Pandur highway. Both left the dhaba late at night to return to Nagpur.
The two were sitting in a car when Ashraf started questioning her about her relationship with other boys. The matter soon turned into an argument, leading to a heated fight between the two. After the dispute escalated, an enraged Ashraf took them to a hill near Sawli Fata. He took out a tire changer from his car and hit Khushi on the head. Enraged, Ashraf continued to attack him until he stopped breathing.
After Khushi's death, Ashraf drags the body down a mountain, where he crushes her head with a heavy stone to destroy her identity. After this he returned home alone at 2 am. Investigation revealed that Ashraf's father, Afsar Sheikh, was illegally selling ganja in Nagpur. He was caught in Nagpur, although he went to jail several times in this case.
