Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani recently spoke about his debut hit Munnabhai MBBS during an event. He said that he may announce Munnabhai-3 soon. However, the script of the film has not been finalized yet.
At an Indian Express event, director Rajkumar Hirani said, 'I have not one or two, but five unfinished scripts for Munnabhai. I worked on the script for six months, but could only get through the interval. One script is Munna Bhai LLB, another is Munnabhai Chal Bes, Munnabhai Chale America and some others.
Rajkumar Hirani said, 'Writing the story of Munnabhai 3 is very challenging for me. First, I want to make this movie better than the first two movies. Secondly, there is so much to show in cinema these days, so something new has to be added to the story of the film so that people can watch it. However, I have a unique idea that I am working on.
Hirani quips, 'My biggest fear is that one day Sanjay Dutt will come to my house and threaten to speed up Munnabhai's next film.' However, Rajkumar Hirani said that he is seriously considering making Munnabhai 3.
Munnabhai MBBS was released in the year 2003 'Munnabhai MBBS' was released in the year 2003. After this, 'Lage Raho Munna Bhai' was released in the year 2006. Both these films were hits at the box office.
