Dip: Har hal mein kush rahna hai

There has been an increase in the circulation of motivational books, articles, lectures that are useful in forest. But that's all for adults. Children will not understand any of it. Children's stories are an effective means of inculcating a positive and purposeful life from an early age when even children today are under stress. Our storytelling tradition embraces the goal of educating children and adolescents through storytelling. The stories of 'Panchantra' and Hitopedesh' are examples of this. Sameer Ganguly is a legendary Hindi children's storyteller. A different kind of long children's story written by him with the aim of making children think about the values of life 'Ek Gulabi Bhainsa Elg Sa' has been published as a book a few months ago. To find answers to philosophical questions like 'Who am I' and 'What is the purpose of my life?', the author has created a different kind of interesting fantasy. So this children's story inspires adults as well as children. All the characters in the story are animals. A Pado, born and brought up in a herd of wild buffaloes, is the main character of the story. He speaks his own words. There are many beauties in this area. The color of buffaloes and padas is black, while the color of this pada is pink. It's her first love. There is another beauty in him that when he is happy, his body smells of rose flowers and when he is afraid, he smells of sandalwood. The reader immediately realizes that this neighborhood is different from all others. Due to its charms, all the animals of the forest surround and smell it and become its fans. Thus the pink parrot becomes a celebrity among animals, just as we are fans of celebrities. In the very beginning of the story, Gulabi Pado says that the only purpose of buffalo life is to run and survive. Pink Paddy doesn't want to live just to live. It has to do something different. One day he gets separated from his herd of buffaloes and is surrounded by lions. But surprisingly the lions are happy to see it. Attracted by her pink color and the fragrance emanating from her body, the king of lions asks her 'Who are you?' Pada doesn't have an answer to that, but from here the questions of who he is and what is the purpose of his life become home in his mind. One morning Gulabi Pado hears a sweet song in someone's voice – 'Har Hal Mein Khushi/ Har Hal Mein Khush Rahna Hai.' After listening to this song, everything starts to feel good, no evil is seen in anyone. Such a positive attitude is necessary for man too, from here begins the self-discovery of the Pink Pada. He goes out into the forest alone to find the purpose of his life. On the way he met crocodiles, jackals, giraffes, monkeys, rhinos. Animals like crabs, turtles are found one after the other. Children are interested in this creation of animals. A mermaid also meets Pada. Gulabi Pado learns something new from them and applies it in his life. Pink pandas learn from lions to be ready to give their lives for whomever they befriend. Once he closes his eyes and thinks about something, a crab says to him: 'Sitting with your eyes closed will not answer any question, open your eyes and try to understand for yourself what you want to do? You will get the answer from yourself.' Further on, Pado sees animals from giraffes to mice going to the 'spring of beauty'. He wants to go there himself, but a tortoise stops him and says: 'First let him understand what it means to be beautiful. True beauty is in the mind, not in the eyes. Beauty cannot be acquired from outside, it must be realized from within.' This advice is also useful for people who strive for external beauty. Pada understands that the meaning of life is to throw out all the garbage that fills us and become lighter. This waste is the vices in us like anger, hatred, greed, fear and crookedness. Unnecessary knowledge is also waste. At the end of the story, Pink Pada comes out of a dark tunnel. There he sees the orphaned, miserable cubs of various animals. Depressed children remain mute throughout the day. Seeing their sorrow, Pado Dravi gets up and starts singing and dancing to please the cubs. Seeing that, even the sad children stand up one after another and start dancing and singing. Happiness spreads all around. Pink Pada realizes that being happy and giving happiness to everyone is the purpose of her life. The mantra of life understood in this children's story of Sameer Ganguly can be the aim of all our lives.}
