Eight people belonging to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) were attacked with knives during a vigil at a temple in Jaipur on Thursday night. The injured have been admitted to SMS Hospital. Enraged by the attack, the mob blocked the Delhi-Ajmer highway. The police cleared the jam at around 1.30 pm after communicating.
According to the Karni Vihar police, a vigil was held at a temple in the area at 9 pm on Thursday on the occasion of Sharad Purnima. After this prasad kheer was being distributed. Meanwhile, two people living in the neighborhood raised objections about the program. During the fight, he called Sagaritos and attacked him with a knife.
A crowd gathered outside the Karni Vihar police station till around 2 am. The matter was calmed down by the conversation of the police officers and public representatives who reached the spot.
Charge- Conspiracy to spoil environment People said that our peaceful program was going on. Deliberately spoiled the atmosphere and there was a stabbing incident. Additional police force was deployed at the spot in the night itself. The attacker Nasib Chaudhary and his son have been taken into police custody. Meanwhile, the search for other attackers is going on.
Stomach and chest were stabbed with a knife The assailants attacked people with knives on their stomachs and chests. Among the injured, Shankar Bagra, Murarilal, Ram Pareek, Lakhan Singh Jadaun, Pushpendra and Dinesh Sharma and others are undergoing treatment at the hospital.
People also surrounded the police station demanding the arrest of the accused. According to the police, the scene is calm on Friday morning and the matter is being investigated.
