'Just luck didn't help': Aditya Seal struggles after 'Tum Bin 2' flop, says- I was running away from going home

Actor Aditya Seal was recently seen in the love story of Amar Prem. According to the actor, it is very difficult to survive and succeed in the film industry.

Recently, in an interview with Frontpage Insights, Aditya opened up about his difficult moments, failures and successes in his career.

Expectations were high from 'Tum Bin 2' Aditya said that there were a lot of expectations from the film 'Tum Bin 2', but the film failed to fulfill that expectation at the box office. He said, “When 'Tum Bin 2' came, I felt that it could prove to be the turning point of my career. Everything was fine with the film – our director was Anupam Sinha, the producer was T-Series, the music was also very good.

The old song 'Teri Kriya' was also recreated. But unfortunately, the film released at the time of demonetisation. This has caused us great loss. At that time I felt that luck was not with me even though my acting was good in the film.

Struggles even after the release of the film After 'Tum Bin 2', it was difficult for Aditya to face rejection. He said, 'My family and I had high expectations from the film. I was thinking that maybe there would be no need to audition anymore and work would come easily. But when that didn't happen, it was hard for me to figure out how to deal. It became difficult to stay at home and talk to family. I would stay out all day and come home late at night so I wouldn't have to face my parents.

'I used to run away from home' He continued, 'I used to stay out of the house all day, wandering the streets or calling friends. If any is free, I would get it. Otherwise, he would sit in the car and eat something somewhere. I knew that going home meant refusing to listen. At that time I could not bear any kind of negativity. But I also knew that I didn't know how to do anything else, and acting was my life.

My mother was very worried, but my father convinced me that I was doing well and that I just had to keep at it. Papa's words gave me the courage I so desperately needed. Told him, just keep doing your work, don't worry about other things. Hearing this I controlled myself and started trying again.

'Student of the Year 2' became the turning point 'Student of the Year 2' proved to be the biggest turning point in Aditya's career. The journey behind getting this film was also very interesting. That said, when the casting of SOTY 2 was going on, I felt that someone else had been cast. I had to work hard to even get an audition. But when I got the chance to audition, I gave it my all. Then I met Punit Malhotra (director) and after watching my audition told him that I like him, but ultimately the decision will be Karan Johar's.

Karan Johar's decision A few days later, he read in the news that another actor had been cast, Aditya said. He messaged Puneet and Karan sir and said if it is so then tell me clearly. But Karan replied, you are the final for me. At that time the papers were not signed, but that one line from Karan sir gave me a lot of relief.

Dream of being a villain on screen Aditya also talked about his dream role. He said, 'I am very inspired by Ballu Balaram's role in Sanjay Dutt Sahab's film 'Khalnayak'. I have always wanted to do that character. I have grown up watching this role since childhood and this is my dream role.
