Maruti Suzuki has launched a special edition Swift 'Blitz' for the festive season. The Swift Blitz will be available in five variants – LXI, VXI, VXI AMT, VXI(O) and VXI(O) AMT. In addition to the features available on all variants, Maruti has provided the Blitz with a rear underbody spoiler, spoiler over the boot, fog lamps, illuminated door sills, door visors and side mouldings.
The Blitz is priced between ₹ 6.49 lakh and ₹ 8.02 lakh The kit, priced at Rs 49,848, is being offered free to buyers with the Maruti Swift Blitz. Blitz costs Rs. 6.49 lakh and Rs. 8.02 lakh (ex-showroom) is between. Maruti Arena dealers will be retailing the Swift Blitz for a limited period to boost sales of the lower-spec variant of the hatchback.
1.2-litre three-cylinder engine in the Maruti Swift Blitz The Maruti Swift Blitz is powered by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine that generates 82hp and 112Nm on petrol and 70hp and 112Nm on CNG. In petrol form, it has a standard 5-speed manual gearbox. Also, a 5-speed AMT option is also available on all variants except the base variant.
