Survey: Companies will see an average salary hike of 9.5 percent in 2025

The average salary hike in India will be 9.5% in 2025, which will be the same as the actual salary hike in 2024 due to which companies are taking a cautious stance with optimism. India will see the highest salary hikes by province. While Vietnam (7.6%), Indonesia (6.5%), Philippines (5.6%), China (5%) and Thailand (5%) will have salary increases. The Salary Budget Planning Report is prepared by WTW Rewards Data Intelligence Practice. The survey was conducted in April and June 2024. 32,000 responses were collected from companies in 168 countries around the world. 709 companies from India participated in the survey.

While companies are optimistic about growth, they are also adopting a cautious attitude with optimism. Both companies-employees want stability and market sentiment is also remarkably stable. The number of captive centers has increased from 1,500 in 2023 to 2,000.

While India is the hub of nearly half of the world's capability centers, the country's skilled youth is driving innovation and increasing the potential for salary growth. Variable payouts will remain unchanged at 12.5% ​​in 2025, up from 12.6% during 2024.
