Gujarat comedian Lawrence Bishnoi gang's next target?: Munawar Farooqui caught in gang's eye for allegedly insulting Hindu deities

Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi is constantly in the news after the murder of Baba Siddiqui. The Mumbai Crime Branch on Monday revealed that the gangster's hit list also includes the name of a top comedian for allegedly insulting Hindu deities. According to a 'Times Now' report, the comedian is none other than 'Bigg Boss 17' winner Munawar Farooqui. After this, while on the one hand Munavar's fans are worried, on the other hand the incident that happened a month ago in Delhi, in which the comedian's hotel was reeked, had to be returned from Mumbai.

An attack on Farooqui in Delhi was averted According to reports, an attempt was made to target Munawar Farooqui during an event in Delhi. It is being said that both the suspected shooters traveled to Munawar on the same flight and stayed with him at Delhi's Surya Hotel. However, luck favored Munawar as the intelligence agencies uncovered the intentions of these shooters in time and succeeded in averting a possible attack. Munawar Farooqui recently won the title of Bigg Boss 17, hosted by Salman Khan.

Who is Munawar Farooqui? Born in a middle class Muslim family in Gujarat, Munawar was born on 28 January 1992. In the initial stages he used to copy his teacher and gradually it became his talent. Bishnoi gangs are killing their enemies one by one Lawrence Bishnoi's gang is already infamous for the murders of Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala and Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi. Recently, the gang also claimed responsibility for the murder of former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Baba Siddiqui. Famous for his annual Iftar party, Salman Khan, a close friend of Baba Siddiqui, often attended this party.

Enmity between Salman Khan and Lawrence Bishnoi Lawrence Bishnoi, who belongs to the Bishnoi community – a community that considers the antelope sacred, has been upset with Salman Khan ever since the actor was convicted in the 1998 antelope poaching case. This incident happened when Salman Khan was shooting for the film Hum Saath Saath Hai in Rajasthan. Although Salman Khan was later granted bail, only five-year-old Lawrence Bishnoi decided that one day he would make a name for himself by taking revenge on Salman Khan.

Lawrence Bishnoi

In 2018, when Lawrence Bishnoi was arrested and produced in court, he openly threatened to kill Salman Khan. He said, “Salman Khan will be killed in Jodhpur…then he will know our real identity.” At the time these threats seemed like a criminal show-off, but now these threats are becoming serious.

Who is included in Bishnoi's hit list? Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's name came to the fore again after Baba Siddiqui, leader of the Ajit Pawar faction Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and former minister, was shot dead in Mumbai on the night of October 12. In fact, the day after the incident, the Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the killing through a Facebook post. After this Mumbai Police is busy with investigation.

Bishnoi disclosed the names during NIA interrogation After Bishnoi's arrest, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) also questioned him. Meanwhile, Bishnai revealed the names included in his hit list. India Today has revealed these names citing the investigation report. Some of these people have already been victims of violent incidents, while others are at risk.

Salman Khan's name is at the top in the Bishnoi list The first name in Bishnoi's list is that of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. He wants to avenge the blackbuck poaching by Salman in 1998, as the Bishnoi community considers the blackbuck to be God. Bishnoi also sent his associate Sampat Nehra to monitor Salman's house, but the plan failed when he was arrested by the Haryana Police. Also in April 2024, his friends fired outside Salman's house.

Shaganpreet Singh is also on target Bishnoi believes that Shaganpreet harbored the killers of his close associate Vicky Midukheda, who was shot dead in August 2021 in Mohali. Bishnoi, who considers Midukheda as his elder brother, now wants to take revenge by killing Shaganpreet. Also Musewala was shot dead on May 29, 2022.

Bishnoi wants revenge with Mandeep Dhariwal Mandeep Dhariwal, an associate of fugitive gangster Gaurav Padial (aka Lucky Padial), also joined the Bishnoi hit-list by helping Vicky Midukheda's killers. Bishnoi believed that Padiyal was the leader of the Davinder Bambiha gang who handled Padiyal's work. However, Dhariwal was shot dead in the Philippines and the Bishnoi affiliated Goldi Brar gang claimed responsibility. Goldie's name also came up in Moosewala's murder.

Kaushal Chowdhury is also on Bishnoi's prime target Bishnoi has included gangster Kaushal Chaudhary, lodged in Gurugram Jail, in his list. Chaudhary is accused of supplying arms to Midukheda's killers. Bishnoi wants to eliminate Chaudhary at any cost.

Amit Dagar is also included in this list Jailed gangster Amit Dagar is also on Bishnoi's target. Dagar is accused of murdering Midukheda and is a close associate of Kaushal Chaudhary. He was arrested in August 2018. The revelation comes at a time when the Bishnoi gang has been under scrutiny after Siddiqui's murder. The Bishnoi gang has a network of over 700 shooters across 11 states and has been compared to Dawood Ibrahim's criminal empire.

Zishan son of Siddiqui And comedian Munawar is also eyed Investigation by the Mumbai Police revealed that Siddiqui's son Zeeshan was also a victim and obtained betel from both father and son. Similarly, an intelligence report revealed that stand-up comedian Munawar Farooqui is also on Bishnoi's hit list.

Why is Mumbai Police not getting custody of Bishnoi? The big question is the Mumbai police not getting custody of Bishnoi despite taking responsibility for Siddiqui's murder and being in jail. Mumbai Police is also trying for this, but it is not getting success. The main reason for this is the Union Home Ministry's order, which prohibits the transfer of Bishnois lodged in Ahmedabad's Sabarmati Jail. This is the reason why the Mumbai police cannot take him into custody even if they want to.

What is the order regarding Bishnoi? In fact, the Home Ministry has declared Bishnoi as a high profile criminal. In such a situation, he has issued an order to stop his transfer under Section 268 (1) of the Criminal Procedure Code (CRPC). This clause empowers the government to ban the movement of high-profile prisoners. Because it is likely to affect law and order. The order was earlier in force till August 2024, but now it is learned that it has been extended.
