Bajaj Auto is all set to launch a new model of its best-selling Pulsar Pulsar N125. The company has sent an invitation on October 16 for this. The invitation reads 'All-New Pulsar'. The company did not specify the model in the invite, but it is believed to be the Pulsar N125. This bike has been seen many times during testing. In this case, its launch date has finally been announced.
A bike with an urban look The company's launch invite reveals that the upcoming Pulsar will be 'fun, tight and urban'. The word 'Urban' means that the new Pulsar N125 could be a premium commuter with sporty and youthful styling. The spy images reveal that the motorcycle will have a muscular look fuel tank extension, split seat and two-piece grab rail. It will also get LED headlamps.
It will compete with the Hero Xtreme 125R
The new Pulsar N125 will get the same 125cc, single-cylinder motor as the existing Pulsar 125. However, the engine can be modified to give the bike a sporty character. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The Bajaj Pulsar N125 will compete with the TVS Rider 125 and the Hero Xtreme 125R. The ex-showroom price of this motorcycle can be around Rs 90,000 to Rs 1 lakh.
Digital console with smartphone connectivityIts braking hardware may include disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. It is believed that Bajaj may introduce a rear disc brake variant with single-channel ABS. Telescopic front forks and rear monoshock will be available for suspension.
