Mohammad Siraj becomes DSP: Telangana DGP appointed; After winning the T20 World Cup, the Chief Minister announced the job

Indian fast bowler Mohammad Siraj has been appointed DSP by Telangana government. The Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) handed over the appointment letter to him on Friday.

Earlier, boxer Nikhat Zareen was also appointed DSP. Nikhat is a two-time world champion.

Telangana Government announced the appointment of DSP After India won the T20 World Cup this year, Telangana CM Rivant Reddy ordered officials to give Siraj a government job and allot a plot.

After India won the T20 World Cup, the Telangana government announced a government job to Mohammad Siraj.

Three matches were played in the T-20 World Cup 2024 Mohammad Siraj played three matches for India in the 2024 T20 World Cup. He got only 1 wicket in the match against Ireland. He gave 25 runs in the match against USA and 19 runs against Pakistan.

Siraj has been rested for the T20 match against Bangladesh Siraj was rested from the three-match T20 series against Bangladesh. The final match of the series will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad on Saturday. He has been replaced by Mayank Yadav and Harshita Rana in the team. While Siraj took 4 wickets in the 2 test match series against Bangladesh.

International career of Mohammad Siraj The 30-year-old fast bowler Mohammad Siraj has played 28 Tests, 44 ODIs and 16 T20Is for India so far. Siraj has 76 wickets in Tests, 71 in ODIs and 14 in T20Is. He has taken 93 wickets in 93 matches played in IPL.

In this, the run means the total number of runs he has given.

Placed in the home series against New Zealand Mohammad Siraj has been included in the squad for the three-Test home series against New Zealand on Friday. He will handle the pace attack of Team India along with Jasprit Bumrah, Akash Deep.
