Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena and Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT) will put on a show of strength today as assembly elections in Maharashtra draw near.
The Shiv Sena (UBT) will hold its rally at the historic Shivaji Park in Dadar, while Shinde will address his group at Azad Maidan in south Mumbai at 5:30 pm. 2 lakh people are expected to gather in Shinde's rally.
The term of the current Legislative Assembly in Maharashtra ends on November 26. Elections may be announced soon.
