Tata also tried his hand at film once: Amitabh's 'Aitbar', released in 2004, raked in crores of rupees.

The death of industrialist Ratan Tata has left the entire country in mourning. Apart from being a good businessman, Ratan Tata was also interested in films. However, he invested in only one Bollywood film in his entire life. The film was Amitabh Bachchan's 'Aitbar'.

Ratan Tata co-produced the film with Jatin Kumar and Mandeep Singh under the banner of Tata BSS.

Made for 9.50 crores, grossed 7.96 crores The film released in 2004 was a flop at the box office. The film, made for 9 crore 50 lakh rupees, earned 7 crore 96 lakh rupees. Seeing this fate of the film, Ratan Tata never made another film again.

'Aitbar' is inspired by the Hollywood film 'Fear' 'Aitbar' was a psychological thriller, released in the year 2004. Apart from Amitabh, it also featured Bipasha Basu and John Abraham. Directed by Vikram Bhatt, the film was inspired by the 1996 Hollywood film 'Fear'. In the film, Amitabh played the role of a protective father who goes to any lengths to protect his daughter from her eccentric and dangerous boyfriend.

After the death of Ratan Tata, Amitabh shared this photo with him and wrote – Today an era has come to an end.

'Mumbai restaurants don't have as much ketchup as they do in movies.' Apart from this, Tata once used to make fun of action films. Ratan said on Simi Garewal's show, 'You can't avoid watching him on television today. My Hindi has improved by watching these movies. But seeing too much violence in many films, it seems that there is no ketchup in the restaurants of Mumbai.
