In Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, terrorists abducted Indian Army personnel. A soldier managed to escape from the clutches of the terrorists and returned. Army and Jammu-Kashmir Police are conducting a search operation to find the jawans. The Territorial Army jawan was abducted by militants from Shangas in Kokarnag area of Anantnag.
In the year 2020, terrorists abducted Territorial Army jawan Shakir Manzoor Wage in Kashmir. Five days after the incident, the family found Shakir's clothes near the house. The incident took place on 2nd August. Then 24-year-old Shakir Wage went missing near his home in Harman, Shopian, south Kashmir.

Shakir's body was found a year after the abduction Shakir was stationed in 162-TA in Balapur in South Kashmir. He went to his home on the day of Bakri Eid. Along with the abduction, the terrorists also burnt the jawan's car. Even after many searches, he was not found.
Shakir's body was found in Kulgam district in September 2021, a year after his abduction. After the investigation, the police contacted Shakir's family. His father Manzoor Ahmed Wage said that after identifying the body, it was found to be his son Shakir.
5 days ago 2 terrorists were killed in Kupwara
Security forces foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Actual Control (LOC) in Gugaldhar in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district. Army and police killed two terrorists.
The Indian Army's Chinar Corps said that on October 4, the army and the police noticed a suspicious movement. A joint operation was launched after this.
In the meantime, the terrorists opened fire. Two terrorists were killed in retaliatory action by security forces. A large number of arms and ammunition were recovered from them.

A head constable was killed in an encounter in Kathua 7 days ago
Earlier on September 28, there was an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Kog-mandali of Bilwar tehsil of Kathua district. In which head constable Bashir Ahmed of Jammu and Kashmir Police was killed. A terrorist was killed on the second day of the encounter.

2 terrorists killed, 5 security personnel injured in Kulgam
An encounter also took place in Adigam Deosar area of Kulgam on September 28. In which the security forces killed two terrorists. Four army personnel and Kulgam ASP were injured in the firing.
South Kashmir DIG Javid Iqbal Mattoo told Bhaskar that two terrorists killed in the Adigam encounter have been identified. One of these terrorists is Aqib Ahmed Shergojri, a resident of Budgam's Chadura. Another terrorist is Umais Wani, a resident of Chawalgam in Kulgam. Both were working for the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba.
Based on intelligence inputs, the army and police launched a joint operation in Kulgam.
On September 27, 6 associates of Jaish-e-Mohammed were arrested in Pulwama
On September 27, the police busted a terror module in Pulwama's Awantipora. Police arrested 6 associates of Jaish-e-Mohammed who were training youths in terrorism. 5 IEDs, 30 detonators, 17 batteries of IEDs, 2 pistols, 3 magazines, 25 rounds, 4 hand grenades and Rs 20,000 cash were recovered from them.
Police said they received information that Pakistan-based Kashmiri militants of Jaish-e-Mohammed were looking for youths who could be brainwashed. Investigation has revealed that the terrorist, with the help of an underground worker in the jail, identified several youths who were induced to join militancy in the Tral area of Awantipora.
According to the police, Pakistan's terror handlers also selected some places to plant IEDs with the help of these youths. Handler also gave the youths money to make the IED, so they could bring the materials for it.
Pistols and grenades were also given to the youth. Youths were instructed to carry out terrorist activities like target killing, throwing grenades at security forces, grenade attacks on non-Kashmiri laborers in public places and IED explosions.
Police seized 5 IEDs, 30 detonators, 17 batteries of IEDs, 2 pistols, 3 magazines, 25 rounds, 4 hand grenades and Rs 20,000 in cash.
During September 13-14, 5 terrorists were killed at 3 locations, two jawans were martyred.
Two jawans martyred in Chhatru An encounter took place between security forces and terrorists on September 13 in Pinganal Duggada forest area of Nadgam village in Chhatru, Jammu and Kashmir. In which two army soldiers were martyred. In which two jawans were injured.
Two terrorists killed in Kathua: On September 13, the army conducted an operation in Khandara, Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir. Here the personnel of Rising Star Corps killed two terrorists. A large quantity of weapons have been recovered from the terrorists.
3 terrorists killed in Baramulla: The encounter began on the night of September 13 in the Chak Tapar area of Kreri in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir. The next day on September 14, security forces killed three terrorists.
