Do not eat raw cabbage
Many people do not know that raw cabbage is not good. Cabbage is usually used raw in salads, burgers and sandwiches. But this is one of those vegetables which should not be eaten raw. Let us tell you that raw cabbage may contain harmful bacteria like E.coli or Salmonella. Awareness among people about this vegetable has increased a lot, but many people still eat it raw.
taro leaves
These days, a lot of taro leaves are being sold in the market. Many traditional dishes can be prepared from taro leaves. Reports say these leaves may contain oxalate, an organic acid found in the plant. If these leaves are eaten raw, it causes kidney stones. But when you cook these leaves, the oxalate levels reduce.
spinach
Actually, eating spinach removes iron deficiency. But do not eat it raw. Spinach may also contain E. coli bacteria which causes stomach pain and other digestive problems. It causes harm to those who eat it as salad.
Broccoli
Broccoli should not be eaten raw otherwise your health may deteriorate. Lightly steaming or roasting broccoli preserves its nutrition. Apart from this, consumption of broccoli also reduces the risk of digestive problems like gas and bloating.
Capsicum
Raw capsicum also tastes good in salad. However, its seeds may contain chemical residues or tapeworm eggs. Cooking it reduces the risk of residues. It is also safe to eat.
