Problem with Audi car!: 37 electric cars recalled, Audi e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT have brake failure on the front axle

Audi India yesterday recalled 37 of its high-performance cars due to a technical fault. The company's recall covers Audi e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT models manufactured between January 9, 2020 and June 12, 2024. The recalled vehicles have been found to have a defect in the brake hose on the front axle, the company told the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM).

Possibility of front brake failure The recall document states that friction over time due to repeated use of the steering wheel can damage the front brake hose (cable). This can cause cracks near the attachment points.

Due to this defect, leakage of brake fluid may cause the front brake to fail and cause an accident. An alert to check the brake fluid level will also be installed on the digital instrument cluster of the electric car. However, the rear brakes will work during this time.
