Delayed toss due to wet outfield: Now umpires will inspect at 9:30; 93% chance of rain on the first day of the match

The second match of the two-match Test series between India and Bangladesh will be played at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur from today. So the toss was supposed to take place at 9 o'clock, but the toss has been delayed as the outfield is wet due to rain. Now the umpires will inspect the pitch and outfield at 9:30.

India lead the series 1-0. India won the first test by 280 runs. Spinners have got more wickets than pacers at Green Park. Keeping this in mind, both teams can opt for 3-3 spinners. After the Test series, 3 T-20 matches will be played.

Possible Playing-11 of both the teams India: Rohit Sharma (captain), Yashshwi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammad Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah.

Weather conditions

Rain may disrupt the first three days of the second Test between India and Bangladesh. According to Accuweather, there is a 93 percent chance of rain in Kanpur on the first day i.e. Friday. The temperature here will be 28 to 25 degrees Celsius on this day.

Pitch report and records

The second Test match between India and Bangladesh will be played on a black clay pitch. There will not be much bounce on a black clay pitch. This pitch can be flat because it is made of black clay. The pitch will slow down as the game progresses. There was good bounce on the red clay pitches in Chennai, but that won't happen here.

Shanto scored the most runs for Bangladesh

Apart from captain Nazmul Hasan Shanto, none of the other batsmen from Bangladesh could play a big innings in the Chennai Test. He scored a half century in the second innings of this match. He has scored the most runs for his team in this series.

The team's fast bowler Hasan Mahmood is the highest wicket taker. He took 5 wickets in the last match. Apart from him, Taskin Ahmed is second with 4 wickets.

Pant India's top scorer

Rishabh Pant is India's top scorer in this series. He scored a century in the first match in Chennai. Shubman Gill and Ravichandran Ashwin also played brilliant centuries. The form of captain Rohit Sharma and star batsman Virat Kohli is a matter of concern.

Ravichandran Ashwin is on top in bowling. He took 6 wickets in the last match. In Kanpur too, Ashwin is the highest wicket-taker in the current team. He has taken 19 wickets in 4 matches. After him Ravindra Jadeja is second with 12 wickets.
