Bollywood actor, director, singer and producer Farhan Akhtar recently gave an interview on Rhea Chakraborty's channel related to her past and married life. On this occasion, Farhan spoke about his first marriage. The actor revealed how his and Adhuna's (first wife) divorce affected his daughters Akira and Shakya.

There was anger and sadness inside him During the podcast, Rhea asked Farhan what his daughters' reaction was when he and Adhuna broke up. On this Farhan said, 'Obviously this would not have been easy. Finally, the relationship she thought was perfect until now, was falling apart. He got angry. There was some sadness inside.
Maybe they are still angry with me Farhan continued – 'When Adhuna and I got divorced, I started blaming myself for my daughters. They were emotionally broken. It is possible that he may still be angry with me.

Farhan remembered his childhood Farhan had earlier said in an interview that when he decided to divorce Adhuna, he remembered the time when his parents (Javed Akhtar and Honey Irani) got divorced. Farhan was very young at the time and upset about his parents' divorce.

Divorced from Adhuna after 17 years Farhan and Adhuna got married in the year 2000 after dating for 3 years. Both got divorced in 2017 after 17 years of marriage. After this Farhan started dating VJ Shibani Dandekar in 2018. The two got married on 19 February 2022.
