For development: respect for everyone's feelings

Hasmukh Patel

A I before da time. A. S. The photos of police officer father saluting his daughter were very flashed in social media and news media. People called it a very proud moment for the father and daughter. It is a moment of great joy and pride for every parent when their child succeeds. Our competitive exams have become so competitive that succeeding in them becomes a matter of utmost happiness and pride for a student's circle of friends and family. These exams demand a lot of hard work, dedication and high level of self-efficacy. Family support also plays a big part in it. A parent who witnesses their child's struggles can understand how success feels. With the same price, a person has shared this photo through Twitter. Viewers of the photo also expressed similar sentiments. No matter how big a child grows, it remains a child for the parents. It also made me think how big we have made the civil service that a father salutes his civil servant daughter. In my opinion, I would have liked it more if the photo of the daughter touching the feet of the father had also flowed along with this photo. It does not mean that the daughter should have touched the feet of the father. Maybe the daughter did that too. There may not be such a way in their house. Speaking for myself, if this had happened in my life, I would have been extremely confused. I don't know if I would have reacted immediately but I have become an officer so if my father gave me such honor I would have been very shy and confused. After joining the Indian Police Service, I went home for a week after completing the three-and-a-half month training of the first phase. After that I had to go to Hyderabad for training. I found my family respecting me more than before. I tried to make our relationship as it was before. We had to make millet rotas on the stove for dinner, naturally. Any work should be done by the little ones. Until now it was the same, but my father said, 'I will make rotlas.' I. P. S. Even after becoming an officer, I did not have the ability to say that I am his son, but I did not let him make the rotas, I made them myself. Our relationship became normal as before. His right to challenge me, to advise me remained forever. Up2 I have written my thoughts and behavior but don't forget that every person has the right to express his feelings. Not everyone feels the same way. Everyone has a different way of expressing their feelings. It is our duty to respect everyone's feelings and ways of expressing them. It is at the foundation of democracy. It is not only our duty to respect the feelings expressed by the father-daughter, the feelings of the person who shared that photo and the feelings of the people who saw the photo and gave their response. India has been known since ancient times to respect every vote. The intention of this article is not to criticize anyone, but about freedom of expression and our religion of respecting the feelings and expressions of all. Let us continue to practice this religion.}
