Alert! Hidden camera found in college toilet: Accused student hiding in adjacent toilet recording video, 15-minute recording found from phone

A hidden camera has been found in the ladies toilet of an engineering college in Bengaluru, Karnataka. A B.Tech student has been caught red-handed while recording. He was hiding in the adjacent toilet and recording with the phone in the ventilator.

According to the police, a girl saw the phone. He quickly came out and locked the adjoining bathroom, in which the student was hiding. The girl shouted and called more people. After this the accused was dragged out and taken to the principal's chamber.

Then the police reached there and arrested him. The accused has been identified as 21-year-old Kushal Gowda. He is a resident of Chikkagollarhatti, Magadi Road and is a computer science student of 7th semester. A 15-minute recording was also recovered from his phone.

Police said- College management is also responsible, CCTV is not working According to the police, the girl raised the alarm at 10.45 am after seeing the camera. That is, the accused placed the mobile phone for recording around 10.30 am.

Officials said the college management should also be blamed. The CCTV near the ladies toilet is not working. Apart from this, there was no women security stationed near the toilet.

Police said that a case has been registered against the accused student under section 77, 351(2). His phone data is being scrutinized to see if he has done this before.
