India beat Australia by 7 wickets in Under-19 ODI: Fifties from captain Aman and Karthikeya; Mohammad Inan took 4 wickets

India's U-19 team has made a winning start ahead of the upcoming World Cup. The team defeated Australia by 7 wickets in the first ODI in Puducherry. Batting first, the kangaroo team scored 184 runs, India achieved the target with the loss of just 3 wickets in 36 overs.

Mohammad Inan took 4 wickets from India. KP Karthikey also played an innings of 85 runs after taking 2 wickets. He received the player of the match award for this performance. While captain Mohammad Aman played an innings of 58 runs.

Kangaroo team lost 5 wickets within 100 runs In Puducherry, the India Under-19 team won the toss and elected to bowl first. Australia lost the wicket of captain Simon Budge in the eighth over, Budge could score only 10 runs. He was followed by Riley Kingsell with 36 runs, Jack Curtain with 17 runs, Addison Sheriff with 1 run and Aidan O'Connor with 2 runs. The team lost 5 wickets for 82 runs.

Mohammad Inan took 4 wickets from India.

Hogan took the team's score past 130 Steve Hogan at number-3 played an innings of 42 runs off 94 balls and took the team to 130 runs. In front of him, Ollie Patterson, Lincoln Hobbs 8 and Hayden Schiller were out by making 16 runs. In the end, Thomas Brown scored 29 runs to take the team to 184.

For India-U19 Mohammad Inan took 4 wickets, 2 wickets went to KP Karthikeyan. Samarth Nagaraj, Chetan Sharma, Hardik Raj and Kiran Kormale got 1 wicket each.

India also had a poor start Chasing a target of 185 runs, the Indian U-19 team got off to a poor start. The team lost 3 wickets for 32 runs in 5 overs. Rudr Patel scored 10 runs, Sahil Parikh 4 and Abhigyan Kundu scored 14 runs. After the top-3 batsmen were dismissed early, captain Mohammed Aman along with KP Karthikeya took charge of the innings.

Aman and Karthikey put on a partnership of 153 runs to lead the team to victory in 36 overs. Aman scored 58 runs and Karthikeya remained not out with 85 runs. Ollie Patterson took 2 wickets for Australia Under-19 while Aidan O'Connor got one wicket.

Mohammad Aman shared 153 runs with KP Karthikeya.

Second ODI on September 23 India have taken a 1-0 lead in the 3-match series by winning the first match of the Yuva ODI series. Now the second ODI will be played on 23rd September and the third ODI will be played on 26th September in Puducherry. After that both teams will play 2 test match series.
