Royal Enfield Bullet Battalion Black Variant Launched at ₹1.75 Lakh: The bike features hand-made golden pinstripes on the tank and single channel ABS, competing with the Java 42

Royal Enfield has launched the new Battalion Black color variant of its most popular bike Bullet 350 in India on September 19. It is priced at Rs 1,74,875 (ex-showroom). The new Classic 350 Battalion Black is above the Military Black and Military Red color variants and below the Military Silver Black and Military Silver Red color variants.

The new Bullet 350 is built on the J-series platform, on which the company's other 350cc models such as the Classic Reborn, Meteor and Hunter are available in the market. In India this bike competes with bikes like Honda CB350 and Jawa 42.

The company launched the new generation Bullet 350 at an event held in Chennai in September-2023.

What's New in Royal Enfield Bullet 350? The Battalion Black color variant features gold pinstripes on the fuel tank and side panels. These pinstripes are hand painted. This cosmetic update makes the look of Royal Enfield Bullet 350 more attractive. The bike also comes in 6 other color options – Military Red, Military Silver Red, Military Silver Black, Standard Black, Standard Maroon and Black Gold.

Apart from this, the bike features the iconic silver, red and gold Royal Enfield badging on the fuel tank. The iconic Bullet 350 logo will also be seen in the side panel. The bike features a newly designed tail section and a new scooping single-piece seat, with the pillion seat slightly higher. However, it comes with the same paint scheme as the standard-black color.

New Royal Enfield Bullet 350: Design The new generation Bullet 350 gets new halogen headlights and taillights while retaining the old look. However, the bike is seeing some changes. These include the frame, engine, single piece seat design, rectangular side box and new handlebars.

Its rear fender has been slightly shortened and the front fender has been extended. The new Bullet features a matte and glass black fuel tank, new copper and gold colored 3D badges, crown insignia and copper pinstriping. Another big update is the Peashooter exhaust muffler.

Royal Enfield Bullet 350: Comfort Features and Braking For a comfortable ride, the bike features twin downtube frame telescopic forks at the front and rear. The bike gets 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheels shod with tube tyres. These are thicker than old tires.

Talking about the braking system, the mid and top variants get 300mm front and 270mm rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS. The base variant gets a drum brake at the rear with single-channel ABS.

Talking about the features, the new generation Bullet gets a new digital instrument cluster with USB charging port, analog speedometer, fuel gauge and service reminder. Like other models, all accessories and customization options will be available with Royal Enfield's new Bullet.
