Nagpur Audi hit and run: CCTV footage of BJP leader's son missing from bar; Police said – Sanket had drunk alcohol, eaten chicken and mutton

In the Audi hit and run case in Maharashtra's Nagpur, police have claimed that the CCTV footage of BJP state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule's son going to a bar is missing. He went to La Horie Bar with his friends on Sunday (September 8) night. Sanket drank alcohol there. Also ate chicken and mutton. After that, he left in an Audi car with his friends. Sanket's Audi rammed into several vehicles in Ramdaspeth around 1 am on the night of September 8-9, injuring two people. According to the police, on September 10, the investigation team went to La Hori bar. There, the manager refused to show the CCTV footage and electronic equipment. He showed the recording as the police threatened legal action. However, there is no CCTV footage from the night of September 8. Sanket admitted- was present in the car; Not named in FIR Police said on September 9 that Sanket Bawankule's Audi was being driven by his friend Arjun Howre. The Audi collided with the car first. Then hit the bike. Then proceeded and hit another car in Mankapur. The occupants of the car chased the Audi and nabbed Arjun Howre and Ronit Chittavamwar, who were present in it. The police registered a case against Havere and Ronit. Havre was arrested on the night of September 9, but was released on bail. Sanket Bawankule was not named in the FIR. The police had earlier said that Sanket was not in the vehicle. However, when Sanket was questioned on September 10, he admitted that he was in the car at the time of the accident. Surprisingly, his name is not in the FIR. The number plate of the car was also removed after the accident. Sanjay Raut alleged that the BJP president's son had eaten beef and consumed alcohol in a bar. Police said on Wednesday (September 11) that Sanket had eaten mutton and chicken. Liquor worth 12 thousand was ordered. Beef was not eaten. This was confirmed by looking at the bar bill.
