The Sanjauli Masjid dispute in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh can be resolved soon. The mosque committee on Thursday (September 12) proposed to demolish the illegal construction of the mosque. For this he met Shimla Municipal Corporation (MC) Commissioner Bhupendra Atri. The commissioner said that the mosque committee itself had asked that the three illegal floors of the mosque be sealed till the court's decision. The committee is ready for this. Protests have been going on for the past 13 days regarding the illegal construction of Sanjauli Masjid. In protest against the recent lathi charge, the traders have kept all the shops in the city closed on Thursday. Meanwhile, Shimla traders staged a protest rally from Sher-e-Punjab to the DC office and demanded the suspension of the SP. The disputed Sanjauli Masjid was built in 1947, three floors were objected The mosque in Sanjauli was built before 1947. In 2010, when the construction of his permanent house started, a complaint was lodged with the municipality. Now the mosque has 5 floors. The municipality has issued notices to demolish illegal constructions 35 times. People used to offer namaz outside the mosque due to which it was difficult to offer namaz. Seeing this, people collected donations and started building the mosque. This land belonged to the Wakf Board. The case regarding the second floor of the mosque is going on in the court. The Waqf Board is fighting this battle. The current dispute began on August 31, when two groups clashed and six Muslim boys beat up a local businessman named Yashpal. After this, Hindu organizations demanded the demolition of the illegal construction of the mosque. Following this, angry Hindu organizations demonstrated for the third time on Wednesday demanding the demolition of the mosque. People's demand: Seal the mosque till the court verdict
