5 crores of gold was looted in 15 minutes, VIDEO: Miscreants fled to Jharkhand with 8 kg of jewelery from a jewelery shop in Chhattisgarh

Gold worth Rs 5 crore was looted in Balrampur-Ramanujganj district of Chhattisgarh. Miscreants attacked a jewelery shop manager with a knife in broad daylight on Wednesday. After this, 8 kg gold was looted by threatening to shoot. After the incident, the miscreants fled towards Jharkhand on bikes. According to the information, a shop named Rajesh Jewelers is located in Ramanujaganj Nagarpalika Chowk. Three youths came on bikes at 1.50 pm. They entered the shop and took out a pistol and caught the employees including manager Rajesh Soni. The incident was caught on CCTV, see pictures The crime was committed within 15 minutes The miscreants attacked Rajesh Soni with a thong and took the gold jewelery kept in the locker along with the shop. After this, the miscreants left all the jewelry in a bag and fled on a bike. The robbers parked the bike in front of a nearby cobbler's shop. In 15 minutes he completed the entire incident. Balrampur SP Jharkhand reached After the robbers fled, the operator and staff raised an alarm and the surrounding people reached the spot. After which the police was also informed about this. Several police officials including Balarampur SP Rajesh Aggarwal first reached Ramanujaganj and from here also reached Ramkanda in Jharkhand. The SP spoke to the Jharkhand police officials and sought their help in arresting the accused. The SP said that a special team has been formed to nab the robbers. A team of Chhattisgarh police along with Jharkhand is searching for the robbers. In protest against the incident, after the robbery of Ramanujaganj Bandh, the businessmen of the city protested the incident by keeping their business establishments closed. Traders said that 11 months ago on October 17, 2023, a robbery incident also took place against Sushma Soni, manager of Deepak Jewellers, Ramanujaganj. At 11 o'clock in the morning, two youths on a bike ran away with a bag full of jewelry. Jewelery worth Rs 8 lakh was kept in the bag. The police are yet to explain the incident. After the death of her husband, Sushma used to run a saw shop. Councilor is also a shop manager Rajesh Soni, the shop manager, is also a councilor of ward number 8. He has the largest jewelery shop in Ramanujaganj. Rajesh Soni has also opened a jewelery shop branch in Balrampur. He runs a jewelery shop in Balrampur. Ramanujaganj's jewelery shop is run by his sister Seema Soni. It is being said that the entire stock of gold was kept in the Ramanujaganj shop due to the fear of committing a crime by racketeering. According to the operator, the robbers have looted around 8 kg of gold from the shop. It is suspected that the robbers ransacked the shop earlier. They decided to rob at a time when the number of customers in the shop was low.
