Former US captain Alex Morgan retired from football: voiced for equal pay for female footballers; Won 2 Olympic medals, 2 World Cups

Former US captain Alex Morgan has retired. A day earlier, she played the last match of her career for the San Diego Waves in the Women's Soccer League, although her team lost 1–4 to North Carolina.
