More than 100 bacteria found in the microwave: researched at the University of Spain, the cause of these serious diseases, how to stay safe?

This surprising fact has been revealed in a recent study conducted by the Institute of Integrative Systems Biology of the University of Valencia, Spain. The most common are Firmicutes, Actinobacteria and Proteobacteria. Some bacteria found in household microwaves, such as Klebsiella, Enterococcus, and Aeromonas, may pose a risk to human health. When we heat food in the microwave, in which bacteria are already present, they also end up in our food. There is a risk of many types of infections and infestations. Answer: During this study, the research team collected samples from a total of 30 different types of microwaves, including 10 domestic microwaves, 10 used in cafeterias, and 10 scientific lab microwaves. While bacteria grown for a long time in food or water can harm our body in many ways. Bacteria grown in microwaves can reach our body through hands, which can cause many diseases. How often a microwave needs to be cleaned depends on the frequency with which it is being used. It is understood that frequency of use of microwave in office and home is different. A microwave in an office or restaurant may be used 50 to 100 times a day. While a home microwave will be used about 5 times. A microwave that is getting more use will require more cleaning. In general, when used at home, the microwave must be cleaned with a damp cloth once a day. His plate should be washed thoroughly every third day.
