Australia clinch series with second T20 win: beat Scotland by 70 runs, Josh Inglis' century; Stoinis took 4 wickets

Australia defeated Scotland by 70 runs in the second match of the three-match T-20 series being played between Australia and Scotland. With this, Australia has also captured the series. The match played in Edinburgh started late due to rain. Scotland captain Richie Barrington won the toss and elected to bowl. Australia scored 196 runs for 4 wickets with great batting. Josh English scored the second century of his career. He played an innings of 103 runs. Chasing 197 runs, the Scotland team got off to a poor start. Both the openers returned to the pavilion within 20 runs. Apart from top-order batsman Brendan McMullen's 59 and George Munsey's 19, no other batsman could touch double figures. The entire team was all out for 126 runs. Marcus Stoinis took 4 wickets from Australia. Josh English's fastest century Josh scored the fastest T20 century for Australia. He completed his century in 43 balls. He hit 7 fours and 7 sixes in an innings of 103 runs. Josh-Cameron put on a partnership of 92 runs and Australia's power hitter Travis Hayden was bowled by Brad Currie for a score of zero. Head and Green handled the innings. Both of them added 92 runs in 52 balls. Green played an innings of 36 runs. Marcus Stoinis came to bat after Green got out. Josh added 64 runs in 43 balls with him. Stoinis scored 20 runs in 20 balls. Brad Currie took the most 3 wickets from Scotland. Brendan McMullen's Half-Century Scotland's top order batsman Brendan McMullen stood alone and played an innings of 59 runs. During this he hit 4 fours and 4 sixes.
