No deal on seat-sharing between AAP and Congress in Haryana: AAP to contest 50 seats alone; SP refused to contest assembly elections

There is no agreement between the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on seat sharing in the Haryana assembly elections. Now both parties can contest elections separately. Keeping in view the attitude of Congress, Aam Aadmi Party has made full preparations to contest elections on 50 seats. However, there has been no statement from either side regarding this. Meanwhile, Congress leader Randeep Surjewala said that we have told the high command that the party is capable of contesting elections in the state even without AAP. 3 reasons for alliance… AAP demanded 10 seats now Rahul will decide… However now the final decision in this matter depends on Rahul Gandhi. Talking about the alliance, AAP leader Raghav Chadha said, 'Talks are going on. We hope that there will be an alliance in the interest of Haryana and the country. On the other hand, Samajwadi Party will not contest assembly elections in Haryana. Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has made this announcement. Congress alliance plan… Single digit seats for allies According to party sources, the Congress has made it clear that it can only give single digit seats to allies. Under the alliance formula, Congress is ready to give 5 seats to AAP and one seat each to CPI, CPM, SP and NCP. Regarding the alliance with AAP, state Congress in-charge Deepak Babria has said, 'We are talking to them. Any agreement is possible only when both parties agree to it. We are working on a solution that will benefit both parties. The situation will be clear in a day or two. If things don't work out, we give up. Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, started this alliance by forming a committee of 4 members. On September 3, Rahul Gandhi formed a 4-member committee to talk to AAP. Apart from party general secretary KC Venugopal, former CM Bhupendra Hooda, state in-charge Deepak Babria and state president Chaudhary Udayabhan have also been hired. Akhilesh Yadav said – Samajwadi Party supremo Akhilesh Yadav has written on social media X that the unity of 'INDIA' is capable of writing a new history in the Haryana elections. We have said many times and are repeating it once again and will repeat it again in the future that 'It's not about seats but about wins'. Whichever party of the 'INDIA coalition' is able to defeat the 'Negative, communal, divisive politics of the BJP' which opposes the development and harmony of Haryana, we will join the strength of our organization and supporters with it. After the alliance with Haryana in next year's Delhi assembly elections, Rahul Gandhi also wants to contest the Delhi assembly elections to be held next year in 2025. The Congress formed the government in Delhi, the capital of the country, from 1998 to 2013 with Sheila Dixit as the Chief Minister. After this, the Congress could not even open an account in the 2013 and 2015 elections. This time, Congress can take AAP along in Haryana and press for an alliance with them in Delhi. Elections for 35 wards of the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation were held in March this year, with AAP becoming mayor in the first corporation with Congress support. AAP and Congress fought this election separately. In which 13 councilors of AAP and 7 councilors of Congress won. There were 14 councilors from BJP and one from Akali Dal. BJP became the largest party for the Mayor. However, under the India Bloc, AAP-Congress formed an alliance in the mayoral election. After which Kuldeep Kumar of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was elected as the Mayor. This was the first election in which the India Bloc fought together across the country and defeated the BJP.
