Sensex fell by more than 200 points: Nifty also fell by 50 points, banking and FMCG stocks fell

The stock market is down today i.e. 6th September, the last trading day of the week. Sensex is trading at 82,000 level with a drop of more than 200 points. Nifty is also down by 50 points; it is trading at 25,090 level. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 17 are down and 13 are up. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 28 are down and 22 are up. In the sectoral indices of NSE, banking and FMCG stocks are trading with a drop. Mixed trading in the Asian market The IPO of Shri Tirupati Balaji Agro Trading Company was subscribed 6.53 times on the first day. Today is the second day of bidding for the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Shri Tirupati Balaji Agro Trading Company Limited. On the first day, this IPO was subscribed a total of 6.53 times. The IPO was subscribed 8.24 times in the retail category, 4.46 times in qualified institutional buyers (QIB) and 5.29 times in the non-institutional investors (NII) category. On September 12, the company's shares will be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE). Shri Tirupati Balaji Agro Trading Company wants to raise a total of ₹ 169.65 crore through this issue. For this, the company is issuing 14,750,000 fresh shares worth ₹ 122.43 crore. Whereas, the existing investors of the company are selling 5,690,000 shares worth ₹ 47.23 crore through Offer for Sale i.e. OFS. The Sensex closed at 82,201 with a fall of 151 points. Nifty also fell by 53 points and closed at 25,145. Out of the 30 Sensex stocks, 21 fell and 9 rose. Out of the 50 Nifty stocks, 33 fell and 17 rose.
