The 11th season of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) will start from October 18. League organizer Mashal Sports announced on Tuesday that the 11th season of PKL will start from October 18, 2024. The 11th season will be played in three cities. The first leg of the season will begin on October 18 at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad, followed by the second leg at the Noida Indoor Stadium from November 10. The third leg will be played from December 3 at the Balewadi Badminton Stadium in Pune. The complete program will be announced after a few days. Playoff dates and venue will be announced later. PKL League Commissioner Anupam Goswami said, “We are extremely happy to announce the starting date and venue for the 11th season of PKL. The PKL auction was held last month, in which a record eight players were bid for over Rs 1 crore. Patna won the most 3 titles Pro-Kabaddi League started in July 2014. The Jaipur Pink Panthers team won the first season title under the leadership of Navneet Gautam. In the second season, U Mumba became champions under the captaincy of Anoop Kumar. Patna Pirates won the title in the third season and the team registered a hat-trick of titles by winning 3 consecutive finals. Apart from this, Bengal Warriors, Bengaluru Bulls, Dabang Delhi and Puneri Paltan have also won the title 1 time each. Jaipur Pink Panthers have become champions twice. Puneri Paltan defending champions Puneri Paltan are the current champions of the league. The team won its first title last season. The team created history by defeating Haryana Steelers by a margin of 28-25 in the final. The match was played at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad.
