MVA rally in Mumbai, Sharad-Uddhav to join: Fadnavis said- Nehru also insulted Shivaji Maharaj, will Congress apologize for this

Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) will protest in Mumbai today Sunday against the demolition of the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. The opposition has named the protest Jodo Mara Andolan (Juta Maro). MVA will hold a rally from Hutatma Chowk in South Mumbai to Gateway of India. The rally will end at the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji. Due to the demonstration, the Gateway of India has been closed for tourists. Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray, Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar and Maharashtra Congress president Nana Patole will also participate in the rally. On the other hand, BJP will also hold a protest in Dadar today under the leadership of state president Ashish Shelar. The party alleged that the opposition is playing politics in the matter of breaking the statue before the assembly elections. Today I bow down to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and seek his forgiveness. Before Modi, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar have also apologized. However, even after BJP's apology, the opposition continues to attack the government. PM Modi unveiled in December 2023 A statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was unveiled during the Navy Day celebrations on December 4 last year. The purpose of installing this statue was to honor the legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and the historical relationship of the Maratha Navy with the modern Indian Navy. PM Narendra Modi unveiled the statue.
