Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) will protest in Mumbai today Sunday against the demolition of the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. The opposition has named the protest Jodo Mara Andolan (Juta Maro). MVA will hold a rally from Hutatma Chowk in South Mumbai to Gateway of India. The rally will end at the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji. Due to the demonstration, the Gateway of India has been closed for tourists. Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray, Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar and Maharashtra Congress president Nana Patole will also participate in the rally.
