Former England fast bowler James Anderson has called Virat Kohli the greatest finisher in world cricket. He believes till date there has been no better batsman than Kohli when it comes to chasing the target and completing it. Not only this, he also called Kohli the greatest batsman of white ball cricket. “I don't know if there has been any other batsman in the history of the game who has batted better in the second innings and chased down the score than Virat Kohli,” Anderson said while speaking on the Talenders podcast. Anderson said, 'His record when chasing targets is excellent. The number of centuries he has scored in the second innings is unmatched.' Kohli white ball cricket legend Anderson said, 'Australia's Michael Bevan was an impressive finisher for his team in the 1990s and early 2000s, but Virat's centuries in victories make him one of the greatest white ball batsmen of all time.' He said, 'Kohli scores centuries while batting at number three. While Bevan was famous for playing late. Kohli scores big, leading to his team's victory. I can honestly say I can't think of a better finisher and a better player of the white ball than Kohli.'
