The opposition is attacking the statement of actress MP Kangana Ranaut, who talked about rape-murder in farmers' agitation. Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Monday said- BJP MPs calling farmers rapists and representatives of foreign powers is proof of BJP's anti-farmer policy and intent. Earlier, BJP had distanced itself from actress-MP Kangana Ranaut's statement. Now Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has said that Kangana has called farmers rapists. He should apologize to the country. On Kangana's claim of foreign involvement in the movement, Chaturvedi asked if she had more information than the Prime Minister, Home Minister and NSA Doval. The CBI should arrest and interrogate them, so that the truth can come out. Priyanka Chaturvedi had a special conversation with Bhaskar on the controversy related to Kangana Ranaut's statement. Answer: I am surprised that an MP has made such an irresponsible statement. She is calling farmers rapists, is rape such a soft word? How can you compare the farmers of Kang's country with the terrorists and the people of Bangladesh. Kangana has to understand that she is an MP now, show some maturity. Now his job is not only to promote the film. Shockingly, no one from the Bharatiya Janata Party opposed it, which shows how anti-farmer these people are. The Prime Minister should take care of this and force Kangana to apologise. Question- Kangana is saying that foreign powers were behind the farmers' movement, what do you have to say? Ans- This is very strange, Kangana Ranaut has information which is not available with intelligence agencies of the country. The CBI should arrest Kangana right now and ask why she did not report it to the Home Ministry when she had such information? Associating the entire movement with it shows a dirty mentality, even if crimes like rape have taken place there. 80 to 90 cases of rape are reported in the country every day. BJP said on Monday – Kangana is not allowed to speak on farmers' agitation On Monday itself, BJP distanced itself from actress-MP Kangana Ranaut's statement. BJP wrote in the press release – The party does not agree with Kangana's statement. He is not allowed to speak on issues of party policy. He is also not authorized to make a statement on behalf of the party. BJP has instructed Kangana not to make any further statement on this issue. The party's statement said to follow the principle of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas. Supriya Sreeneth said – BJP cannot distance itself from Kangana's statement Congress spokesperson Supriya Sreeneth said that food donors have never been called rapists in this country. BJP cannot distance itself from this matter. If you have someone in your party with such a bad attitude, kick them out. The Ministry of External Affairs and Home Affairs should clarify, as they are saying that Chinese and foreign forces are operating in the country. Raut said- BJP will not only have to make statements, it will also have to stay away from Kangana On Kangana's statement, Shiv Sena (Uddhav group) MP Sanjay Raut said on Monday that there are many such statements of Kangana, due to which BJP will have to step down. One day we have to stay away from Kangana too. Surjewala said – Get well soon Kangana, are these allegations an election strategy? Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said – Kangana get well soon. He questioned why BJP people hate Annadatha so much. BJP has always conspired against farmers, lied to them and suppressed their voice. Once again the BJP MP has made baseless allegations against Annadata. Now the question is whether Kangana has made these base allegations as part of BJP's election strategy. Were these just Kangana's words or someone else's? If not then why are the Prime Minister, Haryana Chief Minister and all BJP MPs and MLAs silent on this. Congress leader's demand- NSA should be imposed on Kangana After this interview, former Punjab cabinet minister and Congress leader Rajkumar Verka said, “Kangana is constantly making such statements on farmers. An FIR should be registered against her and NSA should be imposed on her.” Verka has been a two-time Congress MLA, a cabinet minister in the Punjab government from 2017 to 2022, and a two-time vice-chairman of the National Scheduled Caste Commission.
