It is sweet in taste, hot and dry in nature, easy to digest and reduces phlegm. Take one teaspoon of honey with lukewarm water and lemon every morning on an empty stomach.

Amla balances all three doshas (vata, pitta and kapha) and reduces body fat burning. Along with this, it keeps you young. It is very good for diabetes, hair loss and acidity. To consume it, take 1 teaspoon of amla with honey on an empty stomach or 1 hour after meals.
Turmeric
Turmeric has a warming effect and purifies the body. Along with detoxifying, it also helps boost immunity, reduce excess phlegm and control diabetes. Take it with half a teaspoon of honey/amla powder on an empty stomach.

Barley is beneficial in weight loss. Barley is known to reduce fat. Therefore it is expert in removing excess fat in obesity. Barley is best for diabetes. It instantly nourishes the body and also helps in weight loss and cholesterol management while improving digestion, memory and physical strength.
Ginger
Ginger has a hot, dry and pungent nature. It improves appetite and digestion and helps balance kapha. It is also very good for heart health. You can consume it by adding grated ginger to herbal/green tea and drinking it once/twice a day 1 hour before/after meals helps in weight loss.
